Summary
The Partner Account Manager is responsible for implementing the Partner Strategy and to develop and grow a profitable business focused on ULG’s solutions. The candidate will work with their assigned Partners to develop plans that bring incremental revenue to ULG and to his/her Partners in strategic focus areas. The PAM will build awareness of the competitive landscape and educate ULG resources on his/her Partners capabilities. Candidates should be innovative, action oriented, “team players” with strong communication skills who can work cross-functionally within ULG to develop ideas, share best practices and execute strong business plans for growth. The PAM will work closely with Partner Systems Engineers, Partner Development Managers and other cross-functional ULG resources to ensure alignment and consistency with the Partner’s focused efforts. You will also work closely with the ULG field sales teams to understand their business and align partner solutions to ULG’s clients needs.

Essential Duties + Responsibilities
• Identify key contacts at new and existing Partners, understand their technology and integration into ULG’s offerings
• Partner recruitment to deliver business and architectural solutions across ULG’s total portfolio to the Service Provider segment
• Define, document and distribute Partners technology and services in ULG’s framework
• Serve as the ULG Subject Matter Expert and super user for Partners products and services
• Partners’ key point of contact for relationship management issues
• Program Manage the on-boarding and technical integration
• Analyze and document workflows and systems interactions
• Creation of partner facing documentation to aid in system integration
• Act as the primary ULG contact for pre and post-sales positioning, support and client escalations
• Act as the facilitator and owner of the Partner agreement process, including contracting and rules of engagement
• Other duties as may be reasonably requested.

Education, Experience + Skills
• +2 years experience working with a Manufacturer or Partner in the Technology Industry
• Ability to understand, communicate, and implement a mutli-architecture sales engagement
• A business background that enables engagement with Business Decision Makers along with a sales background that will enable collaboration within ULG and our targeted Partners
• A demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions for Partners
• The skills to develop a Business Plan that combines the Partner’s key initiatives and ULG’s priorities for mutual success in the marketplace
• Ability to establish relationships, gain consensus, rapidly establish credibility with and gain confidence of multiple areas across ULG and Partners
• An understanding of how to frame client business and technical imperatives and inspire confidence with a variety of internal and external constituents.
• Strong communication and listening skills
• A flexible, positive, and creative attitude working in a dynamic, fast paced, and changing environment
• Excellent English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to develop and maintain rapport with internal and external customers
